Greenland for a change?
when you think of Greenland, you mostly only have ice and snow in mind - the largest island on earth offers so much more! Hans Thurner visits them in all seasons and travels to all regions, by foot, on touring skis, dog sledding, kayaking and sailing yachts and thus experiences a fascinating world of crashing icebergs, blooming flower valleys and singing whales, but also an ancient hunter culture in transition. In remote fishing villages he experiences Inuit hospitality and speechless he stands in front of the world's largest icebergs on the Kangia Ice Fjord.
The excellent photographer succeeds in creating a multi-layered portrait of a country of moving beauty and unique nature that gets under your skin thanks to the atmospheric sounds of Greenlandic music! Join us for an extraordinary excursion on screens to Greenland!
