Hike Around Leichlingen

Hello everyone,

Let's go for a hike through nature around Leichlingen — river views, fruit trees, and some lovely scenery along the way. We'll start and finish right at Leichlingen train station, so it's an easy loop with no need for a car.

- Meeting point: Leichlingen train station, 10:14 am
- Public transport: RB48 gets you there — please check the exact connection in advance and allow some buffer time in case of delays

The end time is just an estimate — it depends on our pace, breaks, and how much time we take to enjoy the scenery.

Please note:
- Participation is at your own risk
- A reasonable level of fitness is required, as the route is about 15 km with some ascent

We'll take several breaks along the way, including a picnic lunch — feel free to bring snacks and something to sit on. Some of us might head to a restaurant in Leichlingen afterwards.

To make sure we're all comfortable out there:
- Wear hiking shoes with good grip, suitable clothing, and bring sun protection
- Carry enough food and water, as there might not be shops or restaurants along the way
- Please try to be on time, so we can all start together
