After Work Art: Once Upon a Time in America
The Protected content will present U.S. Art from Protected content Protected content works from the Colonial period, masters of American Realism and abstract expressionism. The exhibition “Once Upon a Time in America” will include exceptional works from masters like John Copley, Benjamin West, Edward Hopper, George Bellows, Georgia O’Keeffe, Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman and Jackson Pollock. Each exemplifies the lively, innovative and experimental nature of American art from the very beginning.
Admission information: ID required
Cologne’s museums offer FREE admission on the first Thursday of a month to all citizens with residence in Cologne. You need to bring proof of ID („Personalausweis“) or a comparable document of identification. Note: it needs to state Cologne as place of residence.
Otherwise you have to purchase a normal entry ticket.
Attention: In the museum, you may only take bags that are not larger than the A4 format (27x18 cm). There is a cloackroom available free of charge.
Opening hours: The museum is open till 10pm.
There is a lounge for those of you who want to have a drink after visiting the exhibition.
