Free Exhibition: Expedition Drawing - Dutch Masters

What secrets lie hidden in centuries-old drawings? How can one make these silent masterpieces speak? And how can one distinguish between an original and a copy? These and other fascinating questions will be answered in Cologne in the exhibition "Drawing Expedition – Dutch Masters Under the Magnifying Glass." For the first time, the Wallraf-Richartz Museum is presenting the astonishing results of a multi-year research project. Nearly Protected content from the 15th to the 18th century were examined in detail by experts, using both magnifying glasses and microscopes.
