lets discover architecture, interiors, surrounding spaces, as well as their elongation and distortion of perspective. Alongside masterfully rendered surfaces and building envelopes, views through windows, reflections and bodies of water, Jens Hausmann depicts a romantic, sometimes surreal, sprawling art of paintings π¨.
The artist, combines two important aspects of his biography: firstly, the formative influence of the Bauhaus movement, with its pioneering utopia of living, and secondly, his training as a painter at the Dresden academy, with its then-prevalent focus on traditional romantic landscape painting.
