Vernissage Opening | Two of a Kind
Dear Art Lovers 😃
lets discover the artwork Elizabeth Joan Clarke and her connection to Flemish still-life paintings 🎨 She has worked previously as a visual artist specializing in photgraphy, but consciously avoids digital image manipulation in her works. One of her emphasis is to bring natural daylight to her objects.
"My still lifes seem like the beginnings of stories - similar to the first page of a novel or the opening of a film. Still lifes are anything but silent. They tell stories about things and the relationships between things - sometimes even about their owners.”
