Sarajevo, Metronome of Europe. A Meeting With Joshua Evangelista
Over the centuries, Sarajevo has been a bridge between East and West, a melting pot of languages, markets, and ethnicities, and a place where, for a moment, the Yugoslav utopia seemed to come true.
Today, with Bosnia and Herzegovina divided and the threat of conflict still lingering, Sarajevo eludes every political geometry.
With his book "Sarajevo, laboratorio fragile dei Balcani, metronomo d'Europa" (Sarajevo, Fragile Laboratory of the Balkans, Metronome of Europe), journalist Joshua Evangelista tries to tell its story through the voices of those who live there.
We will meet him on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26 at 7:30 PM at Eden Flower Bistrot, via del Larione (Florence).
Meeting is in Italian language
