Presentation of Two works by the Sculptor Giacomo Manzù.

The presentation of two works by the sculptor Giacomo Manzù.
They are "Child on the chair" and "Study for a large portrait of a lady (Alice Lampugnani)", created respectively in Protected content 1946.
Giacomo Manzù was an international artist.
In Protected content , in front of the UN headquarters in New York, his last major creation was inaugurated, a 6-meter-high bronze sculpture on the theme of the Mother with Child.
Little girl on the chair, from Protected content , bronze chair and lead figure, is an early example of a theme that appears in Giacomo Manzù's graphic production.
Study for Large portrait of a lady (Alice Lampugnani), from Protected content , in wax, is a preparatory work for the masterpiece of the same name, exhibited in Protected content the occasion of the first anthological exhibition dedicated to the artist held at Palazzo Reale in Milan.
