"Egon Schiele" is a journey into the life, thought,
and work of an artist who died too young, at just 28 years old, in Protected content .
Accompanying viewers in the artist's footsteps is Erika Carletto, a new actress whose singing evokes the atmospheres of Vienna and Prague at the time. Between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, these cities were the driving forces of the revolutions and contradictions that still characterize our contemporary world.
It is precisely in this Bohemian town, which in Schiele's time was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, that the roots of an art capable of subverting the aesthetic, moral, and psychological norms of the time and of leading us—even today—to the essence of the human being are rooted.
