WHAT'S THIS ABOUT?
The AGENDA Hair Salon is an ongoing project by South Korean artist Kim Ga Ram that turns the simple act of haircutting into a powerful socio-cultural statement.
Watch as Kim engages participants in conversation about a slogan of their choice – each addressing issues as wide-ranging as life, death, the arts, technology and more – while cutting their hair. The length of hair they part with becomes a measure of their commitment to the message they wear, turning a personal grooming act into a public performance of values and dialogue.
