FAI Spring Days in Frascati (Rome) - Day 1
Dear lovely friends,
I’m inviting you again to a cultural event, always exciting!
For the FAI Spring Days - on 21st and 22nd of March - I’d like to invite you to visit
PALAZZO VESCOVILE in Frascati
(you can reach Frascati by train from Rome Termini Station in 20/25 minute time)
The Episcopal Palace (Bishop’s Palace) of Frascati is an ideal starting point for understanding the historical development of the city. The visit begins in Piazza Paolo III, a central point of the historic center, where the building reveals its foundational role: built on the site of the ancient medieval fortress, it has maintained an important institutional and symbolic function throughout the history of Frascati. Observing the exterior allows visitors to understand the transformation of the original defensive structure into a bishop’s residence.
During the FAI Spring Days, it is also possible to access interior spaces that are normally closed to the public, such as the reception rooms and curial offices.
