Cooking Class - Fundraiser

on May 22nd, the location of the event will be sent to each member from which I have received the funds.

At this event we will learn about two Portuguese iconic dishes: Pastel de Nata and Bacalhau.

Most everyone knows about Pastel de Nata, the famous Portuguese egg tart.

Bacalhau (salted cod) is a cornerstone of Portuguese cuisine and can be prepared in over Protected content . We will be making "Bacalhau Gomes de Sá", a dish made with slivers of cod, baked with onion, garlic, and potatoes, often garnished with boiled eggs and black olives.

For $35/person you will learn how to cook these two Portuguese staple foods, and you will enjoy the fruit of your ardor along with 1 cocktail, 1 glass of wine with the meal you cooked, coffee/tea & desert
Bring a container for there might be leftovers to bring home.

From the funds collected, cost of ingredients will be deducted. The rest I would like to donate to a children type charities and would like to suggest
Protected content , but we could all decide together by taking a draw on all your favorite Charites and donating to one.

If the event proves to be successful, I will repeat it once a month to feature different cuisines.
