DAY TRIP: Chasing Trilliums Hike & Much More
PLEASE READ WHOLE EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The Trillium, a spring-blooming wildflower, is the Ontario’s provincial flower and is best appreciated in rich deciduous and mixed upland forests where you may find blankets of them.
Trilliums are extremely fragile and take Protected content to produce flowers as such it's against Ontario provincial law to pick them.
DAY TRIP SCHEDULE:
9:00 am: Leave Toronto
10:00 am: Meet-up at Crawford Lake & go for hike in search of trilliums Protected content
12:00 pm: Leave Crawford Lake for St Jacob's Farmer's Market
1:00 pm: Lunch at St Jacob & explore the market
4:00 pm: Leave St Jacob towards Guelph
5:00 pm: Explore Guelph, known as The Royal City, it's a university town and
Protected content above the confluence of the Speed River and the Eramosa
Protected content creating large tracts of densely forested ravines, and
Protected content ideal sites for parks and recreational trails.
7:30 pm: Gather for a bite/ drink @ Miijida, for Indigenous & French cuisine
8:30 pm: Depart Guelph heading for Toronto
10:00 pm: Arrive in Toronto
Please be aware this is an approximate schedule, it may change slightly depending on various factors.
I have 2 seats available in my car ($25/ person for car rental & gas)
