Celebrate International Women’s Day with a mosaic of Indigenous and diverse women’s voices, highlighting Tia Wood, Amanda Rheaume, Shawnee Kish and curated by Denise Bolduc.

Tia Wood’s powerful, soulful voice carries the spirit of her peoples’ songs that have echoed from her homelands since time immemorial, and the musical roots of her family tree run deep. She began singing as soon as she could talk, inspired and nurtured by her parents, siblings, and her dual Plains Cree and Coast Salish heritage. She was nominated for her first Juno Award in Protected content her debut EP, Pretty Red Bird. She is one of the first Indigenous female artists signed to Sony Music.

Amanda Rheaume gutsy guitar-driven style, punctuated with lively Métis fiddle, Rheaume’s heartland rock is built to last, resolute in rhythm and unswerving in purpose.

Shawnee Kish's powerful soul voice is why hearing her is a one-of-a-kind experience. The Mohawk singer-songwriter from Canada was a Protected content nominee for Contemporary Indigenous Artist of the Year, tied to her acclaimed self-titled debut EP.
