Latin American Art: a Proud Heritage
Hello dear friends
Closing the events that conmemorase the Hispanic Heritage Month, we organize a visit to a recently open exhibition at Protected content pay homage to the contributions made by Latino Americans artist, From popular art to abstract art, from ceramics to body painting, sculpture, architecture and basketry, and to celebrate the important accomplishments and positive impacts this culture has had on the world.
The South geometries exhibition goes From Mexico City to Tierra del Fuego, celebrating the richness, colors of the patterns, shapeness and figures present in Latin American art. This exhibition offers a dive into the heart of geometric abstraction in Latin America, from the pre-Columbian period (including the work of Martín Chambi: a Peruvian photographer who in the 20's capture in his "timeless" machine the first Macchu Picchu portrait.), to the most contemporary productions
