A Slow, Creative Sunday in Old Montreal
Settle into a delicious, unhurried Sunday surrounded by friends—both familiar faces and new ones you’ll be glad to meet. This meetup is all about connection, creativity, and enjoying Montreal at a gentler pace.
We’ll kick things off at Restaurant Holder, a lively French‑style brasserie in Old Montreal known for its warm atmosphere, classic bistro dishes, and beautiful historic charm. Think of this first part as a soft landing: a chance to break the ice, get acquainted, and ease into the day over good food in a friendly, relaxed setting.
After brunch, we’ll head out for a slow, unstructured photo walk through Old Montreal. This isn’t a class and there’s no instruction (I'm a beginner myself!) —just a group of people who enjoy photography exploring together. We’ll wander, pause when something inspires us, and let the neighbourhood guide our curiosity.
Wear your comfortable walking shoes and bring whatever you love to shoot with: DSLR or mirrorless, film camera or simply your phone (just make sure your batteries are fully charged!).
This gathering is meant to feel encouraging, inclusive, and pressure‑free. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just starting to experiment, you’re welcome. All styles and interests fit right in—architecture, street scenes, portraits, textures, reflections, or anything that catches your eye.
