Screening of the Film "Monster" Kaibutsu
We invite you to the screening of the film "Monster” (Kaibutsu) by Japanese director Hirokazu Koreeda which will take place on Saturday, August 8th, 4:00 p.m. at the Sociedad Japonesa de Beneficencia, Alcántara 772.
The ticket is $3.000 and paid at the entrance. There will be a coffee break after and the chance to win a book about Nikkeis in Chile.
This movie won a Cannes Film Festival price for best script.
Synopsis:
When her young son, Minato, starts to behave strangely, his mother feels that there is something wrong. Discovering that a teacher is responsible, she storms into the school demanding to know what's going on. But as the story unfolds through the eyes of mother, teacher and child, the truth gradually emerges.
