Lets Explore Gouda
Gouda is often overlooked in favour of its more glamourous neighbours Leiden and Delft, but it is actually an interesting and picturesque city.
We will catch the train from the Hague, and from Gouda station we will walk to the medieval market square to admire the 15th century City Hall with its carillon on the right side façade, whose mechanical dolls come to life to put on a wonderful show at two minutes past every half and full hour.
We will also visit De Goudse Waag (old weigh house), the beautiful Sint-Janskerk world-famous for its magnificent stained-glass windows, houmansplantsoen, Molen ‘t Slot and Lange Gouwe
Depending on the weather, we might also visit the Gouda Museum.
