MUSIC: THE LANGUAGE OF THE SOUL
The sounds of the harp: a journey through the centuries
Elizaveta BUCHINGER (harp)
Art exhibition: Watercolours by MaLo
Immerse yourself in a world where words end and music begins. Entitled ‘Music as the Language of the Soul’, this special harp concert invites you on a subtle journey through time that playfully transcends the boundaries of the ages. The harp, one of humanity’s oldest instruments, proves to be the ideal ambassador for the deepest stirrings of the human heart.
The musical journey takes us from the elegant, courtly sounds of the Baroque and Classical periods, through the highly emotional, dreamy compositions of the Romantic era, to the atmospheric soundscapes of the Modern era. Each string tells its own story: sometimes percussive and powerful, sometimes ethereal and delicate, the instrument unfolds a panorama of timbres that touches the soul directly. Experience how the harp has retained its very own magic throughout the centuries and let the soaring harmonies carry you away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. An evening that invites you to pause, dream and feel.
There will also be an exhibition of aquqrelle paintings of MaLo. Don't miss it!
