The discussions are punctuated by interventions from actors, with scientific, literary or political quotes, and by musical punctuations.

A tasting experience will be offered during the event by culinary artist Luz Moreno Pinart.

The topic :

The proportion of meat in our diet is a topic of debate. Some ban it to protect their health, out of concern for the environment, or out of love for animals. Is it a simple trend or a a societal shift?

Three scientists will debate, drawing on human evolution, cardiovascular risk, animal ethics, and our relationship with the environment.

This debate is organized with the Food Initiative, during its international scientific conference on November 17, 18, and 19, Protected content , at the Sorbonne University.

- Camille Daujeard, CNRS researcher, prehistorian, National Museum of Natural History
- Christophe Lavelle, CNRS researcher, biophysicist and culinary instructor
- Vincent Moriniaux, lecturer, geographer at Sorbonne University
