Movie Night From Lebanon
Hello fellow Oriental Vibers,
I hope you've all had a wonderful summer. We're kicking off the fall season with a Lebanese movie that's received a lot of acclaim this year, A Sad and Beautiful World.
Set in Beirut, it follows childhood sweethearts Nino (Hasan Akil) and Yasmina (Mounia Akl), who had lost sight of one another, reuniting in their 20s against the backdrop of political turmoil and social collapse in present-day Lebanon.
The film starts at 19:00. Let's meet at 18:45 in the lobby of Delphi Lux.
