Saxophon Ensemble: From Classical to Jazz - In Just One Evening!

The saxophone ensemble Saxonoras consists of 11 enthusiastic amateur saxophonists from Berlin and is led by the Australian saxophonist Adrian Tully since Protected content .
The concert program takes the listener on a journey through the world and the epochs of music. The antiphonal music of Gabrieli and the classical music of Purcell and Mozart are brought to life by the saxophone ensemble - tender and triumphant at the same time. Classical music from France (Gabriel Fauré) and Spain (Isaac Albéniz) complement the classical part of the program. Popular songs like Hijo de la Luna, Bohemian Rhapsody and Besame Mucho are played in the second half before a jazzy climax full of saxophone sound and wild jazz improvisations over some well-known jazz standards.
The modern church offers around Protected content with the principle "first come first served"! So be in time and take your seat. We can meet in the entrance area until 6.45 pm. There is a bar which offers soft drinks/coffee tea.... After the concert we can stroll to the next bar/café in the Neukölln area Reuterkiez/ Weserstraße.
Looking forward to meeting you! ULLA
