The Cannons, Fortifications and Tunnels of Fort Amherst

Let's visit a Napoleonic Fortress in Chatham! The 20 acre site played a strategic role in the Napoleonic War, and World War I and World War II. The plan is to visit the site, go on a tunnel tour and then explore the area. We may have time to go near the Chatham Dock Yards but I'm not yet sure how long it would all take.
Important! Please book a Tunnel Tour for Sunday 30th July Protected content 13:30. *Do* book online before signing up to the event because they Fort Amherst will not do same-day booking of Tunnel Tour tickets. If you have any other questions, message me.
We will meet at 10:45, at the Starbucks that is inside St. Pancras International Station. It is located inside the station and is near the entrance that goes onto the street and towards King's Cross Station. We will be departing on the 11:20 train to Chatham, arriving at about 12:03. From there we will make sure we get to our 13:30 ticket. We'll have coffee and lunch along the way.
