The Table of Eight — an Indo-European Breakfast
There are events, and then there are occasions. On a Sunday morning in Frankfurt, two civilizations sit down to breakfast, and neither backs down. Chai on the left. Matcha on the right. Both sides of the tea trade table in for a ceasefire that, historically, has never once worked.
This is not a workshop. It is not a "wellness experience." It is eight people, one table, and the only agenda that has ever produced results: eggs, croissants, and opinions about everything in between. On the menu: Fluffy Indian-style Omelette (the word "fluffy" is doing a lot of heavy lifting), Masala Chai, a full Matcha lineup (they even do a Dirty Matcha — that's a war crime, and we're trying it), Delhi-wali Aloo Patties, and a Mango Cheesecake to end the negotiations.
One detail from reconnaissance: the café is missing exactly one element of authentic India — the flower scent. Intel suggests it should be jasmine (mogra), possibly tuberose. We will conduct a blind sniff test. Conclusions are binding.
Cast Notes & Terms of Conditions:
The cast is capped at 8 people — on purpose. Small enough for real conversation, not a networking conference.
Only sign up if you will actually attend. The venue bills for no-shows, and the table is small.
If plans wobble, cancel at least 24–48 hours ahead so a spot can go to someone on the waitlist.
If you're unsure, don't sign up. The waitlist is full of people who are sure.
