Winter Mountain Escape: Slopes, Snow, and Social

Let’s enjoy one last winter adventure before the season wraps up!
Join us for a fun and easygoing day on the slopes at Thunder Ridge Ski Area — whether you ski, snowboard, snow tube, or just love a good winter mountain vibe.

This is a relaxed, social day trip designed for all levels. Come carve turns, learn something new, or simply enjoy the crisp mountain air and après-ski energy with a great group of people.

We’ll be meeting around 10:00 AM (feel free to arrive earlier if you want first tracks).

🚆 Getting There

No car? No problem.
You can take the Metro-North Ski Train from Grand Central Terminal to Patterson, NY and hop on the free shuttle straight to the mountain.

Thunder Ridge also offers a Ski Train Package that includes a discounted round-trip train ticket + lift ticket — a great, stress-free option.

-Please purchase lift tickets and rentals online in advance.
-Please post on the thread I(or message me) if you are taking Metro North, driving , or looking for a ride. If you are driving and can take someone, please indicate that as well . We will coordinate the Metro North and the carpool groups beforehand.
