Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at AKM – Beethoven & Strauss
Join us for a special evening with London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM), as part of the Istanbul Culture Route Festival.
Conducted by Music Director Vasily Petrenko, the orchestra will be joined by acclaimed pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja.
The programme includes:
• Ludwig van Beethoven – Piano Concerto No. 5 “Emperor”
• Richard Strauss – Ein Heldenleben
Before the concert, we'll meet at Divan Foyer within the AKM complex at 19:00 to drink or eat something quick and get to know each other. If you would like to join please let us know in advance so we know who will be joining.
