Rüdesheim -> Lorch (Hotel) -> Lorelei -> St Goarshausen (48.6km)
This hike will take us along the scenic, steep slate rocks and gorges of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. We will explore the 18th-century roots of Rhine romanticism and the valley's cultural history, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Lorelei. We will meet at the Rüdesheim (Rhein) Rheinhalle Nord bus stop at 12:00 PM as there is a train replacement service via bus from Wiesbaden. However, I am happy to take 3 people with my car from Wiesbaden. You are also welcome to join only one leg of the adventure.
Day 1: Rüdesheim -> Lorch (~22km) including a hotel stay + dinner at Weingut Rössler
Day 2: Lorch -> Lorelei -> St Goarshausen (~26.6km) + dinner at Das Loreley Weinstübchen

Make sure to wear hiking gear, a hat, appropriate footwear (no trainers!), hiking socks, as well as carry sufficient supplies, plasters and cash. Please also book your hotel in Lorch am Rhein.
