"Boldini – Staring into the soul” celebrates one of the most famous portrait painters of the Belle Epoque, born in Ferrara and adopted in Paris. Paintings, pastels and graphic works that tell the charm of modernity, fashion, the Parisian upper class ladies and above all female beauty. The Belle Epoque is celebrated in over 90 works by Giovanni Boldini who was able to masterfully blend aesthetic research and psychological investigation, bringing on the canvas the brilliant Parisian society through the famous strokes of painting, long, vibrant and dynamic brushstrokes, which have become the unmistakable feature of his art.
