Exploring Baroque: the Great Theater of Art
09:00 – Meeting point in Bologna at the ENI station behind the Bus Terminal, Viale Masini 1/3
09:15 – Departure by private coach for Forlì
10:40 – Arrival at the San Domenico Museums
11:00 – Start of the guided tour led by Prof. Francesco Menchetti to see the interaction between art, architecture, and culture through works by masters such as Rubens, Bernini, Borromini, Guercino, Guido Reni, Artemisia Gentileschi, Velázquez, and Rembrandt. The Baroque transforms artistic and theatrical space into a language rich in drama, dynamism, and expressive power, bringing into dialogue pictorial, sculptural, and architectural masterpieces, as well as the relationship between art and philosophical, religious, and political ideas.
13:15 – Short walk through the historic city center
13:30 – Lunch at Osteria Nascosta
15:00 – Departure for Bologna. Expected arrival by 16:15
