The Grand Palace is the most beautiful place I have ever visited. Usually long line ups hinder the visit but now is a great time with less tourists.
The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok, and has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam and later Thailand since Protected content . The king, his court, and his royal government were based on the grounds of the palace until Protected content . King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), resided at the Chitralada Royal Villa and his successor King Vajiralongkorn (Rama X) at the Amphorn Sathan Residential Hall, both in the Dusit Palace, but the Grand Palace is still used for official events. The palace is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Thailand.

Tickets also includes entry to Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Center, which is conveniently near Bang Pa-In Palace, the Summer Palace of the Royal Thai family, which we can visit on Saturday 15th August.

I would like to ask you to PLEASE leave home on time. When that should be, depends on where you live, but unless you live nearby, I suggest leaving AT LEAST an hour beforehand. The group can wait for 10 minutes but then will leave.
