Ratha Yatra India Festival in Antwerp!

Join me on Saturday, 20 June for the spectacular Ratha Yatra India Festival in Antwerp! Organized by Protected content and local cultural groups, this thousands-year-old tradition is filled with joy and rich heritage.

Cultural Highlights:
12:30 PM: Sacred Fire Ceremony (Yajna): An ancient Vedic ritual with rhythmic Sanskrit chanting and aromatic offerings to invoke peace and blessings.

1:00 PM: Grand Chariot Procession: join devotees in pulling the ropes of a massive, hand-decorated chariot through the streets, surrounded by live drumming, cymbals, and joyful dancing!

1:00–7:00 PM: Bazaar & Cultural Stage: Groenplaats square transforms into a bustling Indian market with crafts, jewellery, classical dance, drama, and live music.

3:00 PM: Free Vegetarian Feast (Prasadam): Enjoy a delicious, traditional sanctified meal distributed entirely free of charge by the organizers.
