Bcn Heights- Let's Enjoy this Gaudí Hidden Gem & Fashion Market
Hi culture lovers! Springtime is here, so what about discovering one of Gaudi's hidden gems and enjoying a market and some drinks/food in its gardens?
This time I propose a visit to Bellesguard, in Sarrià (uptown Barcelona). Bellesguard house was built by Gaudí in the early Protected content . Its mix of art-nouveau and gothic style is very unique and it was inspired on the history of this location; more precisely on the former medieval castle of the king Martin the Humane that was located there (he lived in this castle until his death in Protected content .
Apart from the architecture and history perspective, we can enjoy the fashion and trends market that takes place this weekend in the house gardens: Bcn en las Alturas (over 40 brands!). There will be food-trucks and life music as well.
So let's meet at 11h in the entrance to the market. We will ask for a guided tour of the house in English, and we will then spend some time in the market and enjoy some drinks and food there.
The guided visit lasts 40 min aprox. It can't be booked in advance, but we shouldn't have trouble to do it, as locals usually get there later (organizers told me that by 11h locals are not there yet ;P)
See you this Saturday for some architecture, trends... and good vibes in a privileged location!
