Paolo Fresu and Uri Caine are long-time associates, two great personalities of modern jazz. In their projects and performances the two musicians perfectly balance lyricism and rhythmic shots, blues, American songs, jazz repertoire and precious classical quotes.
If Fresu is one of the most well-known jazz players in Italy (and abroad), he is no less than Uri Caine, a pianist who excels when it comes to playing jazz without frills, who has achieved popularity above all for his fervent imagination as a composer. Together, the two face the game with surprising simplicity.
