Enjoy Hyper Realistic Paintings in Fuchu Art Museum in Tokyo

We will plan to visit a museum in Tokyo, and see a special exhibition featuring in a Japanese hyper realistic painter named Atsushi Suwa.
His paintings are amazingly exquisite and detailed as if they were photographs. However, he does not simply transcribe what he sees, but expresses his own view to the world through the way of exquisite paintings by repeating an enormous amount of thought, research, and experimentation to create a single work of art.
For example, in this exhibition, he exhibits a series of paintings on the theme of his grandmother who died of illness in Manchuria just after the end of the World War 2. The depth of his works is further enhanced when one learns the episodes behind each painting.
