The Russian Revolution
The Protected content in Russia produced the world’s first workers' state. Some historians have argued that it was in fact a dictatorship of the Bolsheviks party or that Bolshevik rule led to Stalinism? Yet this was an event involving millions of working-class people and poor peasants. What happened, who were the Bolsheviks, what were the "soviets" and what is the real, lasting legacy of the revolution?
Afterwards let's meet and exchange our impressions through a zoom session. What impact did the Russian revolution? What were the main objectives of the Russian revolution? And what were the main causes of Russian Revolution in points? We can have a post-watch discussion and do a round table, immediately afterwards the show! Caoihmhin, Irish writer and historian, will help us to deepen these interesting topics.
The Zoom discussion link will be communicated be InterNations before the event.
