Warm and Sunshine City Escape: Tenerife Island in January
Tenerife is a stunning holiday destination with all year-round sunshine. The climate is perfect for open water swimming in the Tenerife sea, where average air temperatures range between 17 C and 24 C with sea temperatures rarely dropping far below 20 C. Alternatively, you can also swim inside heated pools.
Watching the different types of cetaceans that swim in the wild in the waters to the southwest of Tenerife, one of the few places in the world where they can be seen so close to the coast, is an experience that’s hard to forget.
There are several recreational parks, of which two stand out for being considered the best in the world, in their respective fields: Siam Park water park and the Loro Parque zoo. For most of those who know the island, the Teide National Park is Tenerife’s crowning jewel.
This vacation is not organized by a tour operator, so the idea is that everyone gets the flights and accommodation of his/her preference.
For the accommodation, we recommend booking your place in the area of Playa de las Americas, in South Tenerife.
A suggestion might be Parco Santiago III (Avenida Las Américas, 2 , Protected content de las Americas, Spain).
We can discuss everything on the following WhatsApp group for Tenerife:
A program of the daily activities will be uploaded separately. Everyone is welcome to share his/her own idea or experience for organizing the things to do in Tenerife.
