Visit of Nordic Institute
Join us for a special opportunity to discover Villa Lante, a hidden Renaissance gem on the Gianicolo.
Built in the early 16th century and designed by Giulio Romano, one of Raphael’s most renowned pupils, the villa is known for its elegant architecture, Renaissance frescoes, and beautiful views over Rome. Today, it is home to the Finnish Institute in Rome, a center for research in archaeology, classical studies, and art history.
Villa Lante is normally not open to individual visitors, making its Open Day a wonderful opportunity to discover this fascinating place.
Entrance is free.
