Inspired by the Protected content who defended democracy in Protected content , the band Protected content set itself the goal of keeping the Spartan rock 'n' roll of AC/DC alive and filling it with new life.
The band, in which InterNations member Peter Metzinger plays the lead guitar, has been covering songs by AC/DC for five years and “spartanises” other rock classics until they sound like AC/DC. In addition, they also write their own material that sounds like – exactly – from AC/DC. Their first song, titled “300 We Are”, premiered in Protected content Pandemic at Track 21. It's a tribute to classics like “Highway To Hell” and AC/DC's time with singer Bon Scott. According to the band, Spartan rock'n'roll is “reduced to the minimum, aggressive and loud, Spartan in fact”.
The band remembers the performance of Protected content Gleis 21 very fondly. “It was our first public performance. Before that we had only played at internal events. The audience was amazing and really took part. We had a lot of fun and are now looking forward to 11 March Protected content , the first concert since the pandemic-related forced break.”
300 includes Gianna Nigro (vocals), Claudia Zollinger (drums), Mattias Cattepoel (bass), Fabian Furger(rhythm guitar) and Peter Metzinger (lead guitar).
