Water Cycling & Waterside Drinks at Vlietland

Escape the city buzz for an active, refreshing afternoon at the beautiful Recreatiegebied Vlietland! Skip the standard city bars and join us for a dedicated water cycling experience tailored for the internations community who love fitness, the outdoors, and good conversation. We will be renting water cycles (pedal boats) directly from Protected content to cruise across one of the largest and most scenic lakes in the region. Whether you want a solid low-impact leg workout or prefer to pedal casually while networking with fellow attendees, this event blends outdoor recreation with a vibrant social scene.

Event schedule
15: Protected content Meet at Protected content for pre-ride drinks and social networking
15:30 – 15:45: Passing to the rental dock of Protected content for introductions and equipment pickup.
15:45 – 16:45: Group water cycling session out on the lake.

Important details
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a bottle of water.
Pricing: Water cycle rentals are €18.00 per hour per boat (shared costs between passengers). Life jackets are included for free upon request.
Transportation: The venue offers plenty of free parking. It is also easily accessible by bike from Leiden, Voorburg, and The Hague.
Limited spots: Boat rental availability is limited. Please RSVP early so the exact number of water cycles can be reserved online in advance.
