Things That Go Bump in the Night
Dare to share a story that will keep us awake at night?
This Halloween, we're stepping into the shadows for a night of spooky tales, ghost stories, unsettling encounters, and things that perhaps should have stayed buried.
Whether you love writing chilling fiction, have a knack for telling a creepy story, or simply enjoy a good fright, come along for a Halloween gathering dedicated to the darker side of storytelling.
What to expect:
- Spooky stories, ghostly encounters, and tales of the unexplained.
- An opportunity to share your own original scary story, if you wish.
- A chance to discover other writers' imaginations and storytelling styles.
- Plenty of Halloween atmosphere, creativity, and conversation.
Your story can be a work in progress, a freshly written tale, or something you've been keeping tucked away in a drawer. Short stories and flash fiction are especially welcome so everyone has a chance to participate.
No finished story? No problem! Come along to listen, share ideas, meet fellow writers, and enjoy the spooky atmosphere.
So, sharpen your pencils, summon your imagination, and prepare to explore what happens when the lights go out.
Because the scariest stories aren't always the ones with monsters.
Sometimes, they're the ones that feel just a little too real.
Will you dare to tell yours?
