Join us for a hike that takes you to England's former capital (yes Winchester was England's capital before London)
We go past Winchester Cathedral and also the Great Hall - the resting place of King Arthur's Round Table. We'll also pass Jane Austen's house and The Bishop of Winchester's manor and a 17th century hospital.
The 10 mile hike will be through woodlands, across streams and up St Catherine's Hill, through fields and another small hill before meandering our way back to the town centre.
We will have a short Protected content stop at The Bridge Inn Pub in Shawford. We will not stop for a long lunch break there just a quick drink. Best to bring sandwiches with you.
We'll end with drinks at a local pub
