Chess Valley and Latimer Village
The weather looks good this weekend so let's explore the Chilterns!
We will meet at Chorleywood tube station and then walk across Chorleywood common and towards the Chess Valley.
Chess Valley is part of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, one of England's most attractive regions of countryside.
We will walk along the meandering Chess river with clean spring water.
We will stop for a lunch break at Frogmore meadow, which is a Nature Reserve and Site of Special Scientific interest.
We will then head for Latimer village and stop by the Latimer House, historic country house.
We will continue along a ridge overlooking the Chess Valley and towards Chesham where we end our walk and may go for drinks.
We aim to arrive in Chesham around 5pm.
Looking forward to meeting you!
