Join us for one of the most picturesque walks in Surrey


Colley Hill - We get from the top, amazing views across the surrey countryside

Gatton Park - Nestling serenely into the North Downs, the lush pastures, mighty trees and sparkling lake designed by Lancelot "Capability" Brown

Reigate Fort - Built in Protected content part of a 72 mile defence line to protect England from possible invasion

The B17 Bomber crash memorial site

The Millennium stones - A series of 10 stones created in Protected content commemorate the year Protected content

We walk along the North Downs Way and also part of the Pilgrims way through meadows and woodland, and up a hill. The hike has a number of twists and turns and goes into dense woodlands. There are several ascents and descents.

Distance: Approx 9 miles

Pace: Brisk

Terrain: A few ascents and descents throughout the hike but very manageable for fit hikers

Starting point: Reigate Station

End point: Reigate Station


Facilities are very limited at Reigate station so plan to go on the train or before you come for the hike if possible

Meeting Point

Meeting point is on the side of the station where the main ticket office is, NOT where Homebase is. If you are on the Homebase side take the tunnel under the station to the other side

Leave for hike at: 11.10 am

Finish: 16.30 (Could be earlier, depends on speed of group)
