MEET AT 10.15 AM (SITE DOES NOT ALLOW 10.15 TO BE INPUT)

This varied and undulating hike takes in ancient woodlands, idyllic views across the Downs, it traverses a plethora of farms and parks and takes us through Banstead Woods and Chipstead Downs, through nature trails and quaint hamlets

It might be muddy in some parts so bring proper hiking shoes and gaiters if you have them

HIGHLIGHTS

A walk through ancient woodlands with a raft of Hornbeam, Scots Pine, Oak and a Chestnut tree with a "Lattice Bark"

Pass various wood carvings & sculptures from the Narnia Chronicles of the Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe

Visit the Long Plantation, Shabden Park and walk along the Millennium Trail

Hike along Chipstead & Stagbury Downs

Terrain: Undulating with several ascents and descents. Not steep but a reasonable level of fitness required. This is a hike not a walk

Distance: 15 km (9 miles)

Walk pace: Medium - Brisk
