MEETING TIME

We meet at 11.05 am (When the train comes in) and leave for the walk at 11.10 am

HAMPTON COURT - KINGSTON - RICHMOND (LINEAR WALK)

HAMPTON COURT STATION TO RICHMOND STATION

We meet at Hampton Court Station, then walk to Hampton Court Palace and along the river's edge (Barge Walk), passing by the King's Privy Garden, The Pavilion, Raven's Ait and follow the path opposite the Italianate tower of St. Raphael's Church until we get to Kingston Bridge.

We then proceed to Richmond via Teddington Lock, Ham House and pass through idyllic riverside waterfront with amazing views.

Please bring a packed lunch with you, we will also stop at Kingston for a quick lunch break / toilet stop so you can buy lunch there

Walk pace: Brisk

Terrain: Flat

There is not meetup fee for this walk

FOR THOSE COMING BY TRAIN

There are frequent trains from Waterloo and Clapham Junction

FOR THOSE DRIVING

Parking available at Hampton Court station and nearby. But remember this is a linear walk and not circular

If you are late

Cross the bridge turn right, walk past the palace and along the river to Kingston bridge. Cross the bridge. Make your way towards Kingston Station (there is a small arch opposite Bentalls) go underneath that, turn left and walk to the riverside. Then walk straight along the river to Richmond
