KINGSTON - KING HENRY'S MOUND - RICHMOND

We meet just outside Kingston station and then walk along the river to Richmond passing Teddington Lock and several other scenic river side views

We'll also walk up a hill to King Henry's mound where Turner painted some of his famous landscapes

We end the walk near Richmond station

Terrain: Flat (Apart from one ascent of 10 mins)

Distance: 6 miles approx

Pace: Brisk

There will be no toilets until we reach Richmond

Walk begins: Kingston station 2pm

Walk ends: Near Richmond station around 5pm (Can be earlier depends on speed of group)

WHAT IF YOU ARE LATE

If you are late as you leave Kingston station turn RIGHT. Walk to the end of the road and turn RIGHT (Under the small bridge / arches), take the first LEFT. Go to the river side and turn RIGHT and walk along the river to Richmond Bridge
