Milford to Godalming (Including Winkworth Arboretum)
LINEAR HIKE
Hike start point: MILFORD TRAIN STATION
Hike end point: GODALMING TRAIN STATION
An invigorating hike along parts of the Greensand Way. Passing lakes, timber framed Mills, a plethora of 18th century houses, an arboretum and famous garden.
Large parts of this walk will be in woodlands. With a few ascents. A good level of fitness is required.

Distance: 12.3 Miles (18.5 km)
Pace: Brisk (We will have to go at a reasonable pace otherwise we'll end up walking in the dark)
Terrain: There will be some ascents during the hike and a good level of
fitness is required. The hike is however very manageable for fit hikers
Please bring a packed lunch and atleast 1 litre of water.
DRIVERS: Park at Milford station
At the end of the hike you'll then need to buy a single ticket (1 stop) from Godalming (end of hike) back to Milford (5 mins train journey)
