Earth Day Yoga and Meditation: Ground, Breathe, Connect

April 22nd is World Earth Day, and this year marks its 55th anniversary, with the theme “Our Power, Our Planet.”
We'll come together to honour Mother Earth through a grounding yoga and meditation practice focused on gratitude, connectedness, balance, and steadiness.
We’ll begin by setting an intention and practicing Earth Breath Pranayama - a grounding breathwork technique.
After a gentle warm-up, we’ll flow through an Earth-centered sequence, emphasising stability, support, and nurturing.
We'll then slow down into a Yin style practice, holding postures for longer to explore deeper layers: physical, energetic, and emotional.
A beautiful, guided Tree Meditation will help cultivate a sense of peacefulness and deep connection.
We’ll end with a soothing Savasana, lying down for complete relaxation.
Please note: By joining the class, you are solely responsible for your own practice and how it affects you. You agree to listen to your body and participate at your own pace.
You’ll need:
A yoga mat
Stretchy, comfortable clothes
A blanket or props to support your practice
You can light a candle and play your relaxing tunes on a spare device.
I encourage you to keep your camera on - at least at the beginning - so we can create a warm, shared space together.
Regular yoga sessions that include breathing techniques and meditation can help you feel stronger in both body and mind, more peaceful, and more in tune with yourself and the world around you.
