🌊 PACIFIC COASTAL TREK — Everyone's invited!
Join us on an approximately 20 km hike along Chile's central coast, exploring five picturesque coastal towns: El Quisco, Punta de Tralca, Isla Negra, El Tabo, and Las Cruces. We begin in the cove of El Quisco — with its atmosphere of fishermen and pelicans — and continue along rocky paths, trails, and beaches until we reach Las Cruces, the former home of poet Nicanor Parra. Along the way, we stop at Punta de Tralca and its seaside sanctuary, at Isla Negra to see the house where Pablo Neruda lived and is buried, and at El Tabo to visit the Gota de Leche Nature Sanctuary, a protected area for the local dunes. Finally, we arrive in Las Cruces, the former home of poet Nicanor Parra.

The hike is of medium difficulty, requires no prior experience but does require good physical fitness, and can be completed in approximately 6 to 7 hours at a brisk pace, with breaks to explore each village.

All you need is suitable footwear, layers of clothing for the coastal wind, sunscreen, water, and something to eat along the way. The scenery does the rest!

This activity is a good training exercise for those who dream of walking the Camino de Santiago—but whether that's your plan or not, everyone is absolutely welcome. Families, friends, solo travelers, and adventurers of all levels. What matters is walking together.
