Beyond the Query: Navigating Writing Competitions

Got a deadline you’re racing toward, a contest entry you’re polishing, or a scene that’s giving you grief? This month, we’re keeping things simple and action-oriented.

We’ll spend the first half of the session in a quiet, dedicated "co-writing sprint" to get words on the page. In the second half, the floor is open: bring a paragraph, a query hook, or a short excerpt if you want a friendly, constructive second pair of eyes from the group. Or, just come for the quiet accountability and a chat with fellow writers!

Discover the joy of expressing your creativity and taking time for yourself. Whether you're an experienced writer or just starting out, your creative spark deserves to shine. Let’s explore the journey together!

Our inclusive writing group welcomes all genres and skill levels. Whether you write short stories, poetry, or novels, you’ll find a supportive community. We meet monthly for an hour of inspiration and connection.

Session Focus: Open Mic and Discussion
A space to share your work—poetry, short stories, or excerpts—and engage in open discussion. Come ready to participate and go with the flow!
